Amsab-ISH is trying to bring its collection and its research to a wide audience. In doing this Amsab-ISH is sharing its know-how. All projects are undertaken in close collaboration with a whole array of partners.

Nearly a quarter of a century ago a museum on West Flemish seasonal workers opened in Koekelare (province of West Flanders). These "Franschmans" as they were called, went to work in France until the end of the last century, mostly in agricultural activities.The makeover of the "Fransmansmuseum" is a cooperation between Amsab-ISH, the municipality of Koekelare, the local history association and the design office Bailleul.

The People's Houses is an initiative of a the Ghent University (Belgium). It aims at a publication on the (history of the) people's houses in Europe. Amsab-ISH is contributing content and a website mapping people's house all over Europe.
